Everyone has problems. The poor have problems. The rich have problems, not the same ones, but still problems. The young have problems, the old have problems. There are health problems, there are relationship problems. People are seeking for solutions. Many times, no one can help. Therefore people are looking for God. Are you looking for God?
The Bible says," For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." and that the wages of sin is death. So, everyone in this world must die, but worse than that, before we die physically, our spirit is already dead. That is why we are separated from God. We no longer enjoy the peace and joyfulness from God. Instead, we are pursuing worldly happiness by overwhelming our senses by an abundance of material things and entertainment. When the sensations are over, we feel even emptier and lonelier than before.
Praise the Lord, the Bible says, " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jesus died on the cross for us so that for those who accept God, his relation with God may be restored, and his spirit may be revived. The Bible further teaches that as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name. So we need to receive him and to accept him.
People are looking for God, but our God has already reached out to us. All we have to do is to accept Him. To accept Him, the first thing is to want to know him. The second is to get to know him through church, scripture reading, prayer life, and fellowship with other Christians. The third step is willing to have a changed life by following the teaching in the Bible. Gradually, our lives will be changed from that have been molded by the world for many years to that which is pleasing to God, and more and more we will enjoy the promises of God. We will have the joyfulness and peace from God.
Would you like to accept Jesus? He can change your life. All you need to do is to pause and pray to God . It does not matter where you are, you can say the following prayer, "God, I know that I am a sinner. I want to accept Jesus to be my savior. I want to invite the Holy Spirit to come into my heart to guide me. In Christ Jesus Name, Amen." If you say that prayer, Thank God, for He has found you.
God bless you.
